Our Story
Create The Space Initiative, emerged from Tampa’s street dance community, responding to the need for safe, accessible dance spaces where urban artists could train, connect, and perform. We are dedicated to preserving hip-hop culture, supporting freestyle dancers, and transforming urban spaces into platforms for artistic expression, community building, and cultural education.

By integrating breaking, Freestyle hip-hop, popping, locking, Vogue, Litefeet, Whacking and house dance, we create a hub for street dancers, choreographers, and freestyle artists in the Tampa Bay dance scene. Our mission is to empower the next generation of dancers, provide free dance classes, and foster collaborations between local and international street dance artists.
